The plug-in can be downloaded from Ocean Store. If you have your Petrel Dongle ID available, the plugin is also acquired from Geocap. When this page:

Installing the Plug-in:
Once the installation file is downloaded,

open Petrel.
Navigate to
File → Options → Plug-in

Manager.Click Install Plug-in and

locate the downloaded
.pipfile.

After the installation completes, close and reopen Petrel.

Activate the plugin:
When Petrel restarts, open the License Selection window.
Under Ocean Plug-ins, check the box next to GIS Datalink to enable it.
Please ensure you have a valid license to use the plug-in.
