{alias:zap} h2. Name *zap* --- Zap (or snap) to data h2. Syntax {panel:|borderStyle=solid|borderWidth=1|bgColor=#ffffaa} *zap* _workspace\_grid_ \[*dif*] \[*adj*] {panel} h2. Description Snap points to a grid. The points are given the value of the surface in the XY-position of the point. h2. Arguments _workspace\_grid_ {indent} This is the name of the grid dataset in workspace {indent} *dif* \[*kop*] {indent} The difference (or vertical distance) between the original z-value of a point and the surface is put in the scalars. *kop* Keep the original z-values of the points when using the *dif* argument. {indent} *adj* \[_adjustfactor_] {indent} The *adj* argument enables to zap a little bit above the surface in order to display the zapped data (points and lines) without interfering with the surface. The _adjustfactor_ is default 0.2. An increasing value will lift the zapped data higher above the surface. h2. See also [agr - Adjust grid], [cut - Cut grid data] {pagebreak} |
