Display the points
Right-click the dataset and select Make active
Pick points by positioning the mouse cursor over/near the points and pressing n press j on the keyboard. Note that this pics points (not lines between points) on any polydata-set visualized from the project. This functionality is valid from Geocap 6.3.4.
