{alias:ref} h2. Name *ref* — Reference point h2. Syntax {panel:|borderStyle=solid|borderWidth=1|bgColor=#FFFFAA} *ref* \[*cen*] | \[*win*] | \[*dat*] | \[*poi*] | \[*coor*] | \[*loc*] {panel} h2. Description Make a reference point in the graphical window. The reference point is often used as a reference in other commands. e.g. *poi ref* will display a point at the reference point, or *rot 30* will rotate a dataset 30 degrees around the reference point. h2. Arguments {indent}No argument, only the command *ref*. Will make the reference point equal to the cursor position.{indent} *cen* {indent}Will make the reference point equal to the center of the window.{indent} *win* {indent}Will make the reference point equal to the origo of the window.{indent} *dat* {indent}Will make the reference point equal to the minimum values of the active dataset.{indent} *poi* \[_point\_number_] {indent}Will make the reference point equal to the coordinates in _point\_number_ (default 0) of the active dataset.{indent} *coor* _x y z_ {indent}Will make the reference point equal to _x y z_ coordinates.{indent} *loc* _x y z_ {indent}Will make the reference point equal to the location point pluss _x y z_ values.{indent} h2.
