Introduction
In this section we will go through the import of 2D seismic lines in SEG-Y format and navigation lines in UKOOA format. Sometimes it can be very difficult to import seismic lines because different companies use different settings, the header could be missing or wrong and so on. However, the SEG-Y reader in Geocap is very flexible, so you should be able to import any SEG-Y line. Read more about the SEG-Y import here: Importing SEG-Y
Exercises
2D SEG-Y
The demo dataset contains numerous seismic 2D lines. In this example, the user will import seismic lines from 2 different seismic 2D surveys. (Note: It was previously four, but for rational reasons it is cut down to two).
