Introduction

It is a good habit to regular check the data properties to see that everything looks fine. Although algorithms and menus should reject data that contain erroneous data, the user should also keep and eye on the dataset and secure the quality of the data. Data properties is shown by right-clicking a dataset and selecting Properties.

In this section:

General

The General tab will give you details about the dataset, such as the data range, type, schema, memory size etc.

Commands

The Commands tab will tell you which command is default when clicking in the checkbox of the dataset. You can reset default to another command.

Geodetics

You can view and set the the geodetics settings of your dataset in the Geodetics tab. Note that to convert the dataset to another coordinate system you will need to run a conversion command. Read more about Geodetic Conversion.
