Only the checked remove selections will be performed. When executing the filter several times on the same dataset, the selected filter will be reverted before the next is applied if the data set is Multibeam or Pointcloud.

The filter works on Multibeam Survey data only and works ping for ping. If the calculated angle from one point in the is larger than the specified angle, the point is regarded as a spike and filtered. The filter should be used with care on pipeline surveys, since it may remove points which detects the pipe.
