I cannot find SEG-Y Import when right-clicking on a Seismic Data folder in my Geocap project

Missing SEG-Y import commands is usually related to missing plugins or old schemas. Try the solutions below.

Make sure the plugins: 'Oil & Gas' and '3D Seismic' are loaded.

  1. Goto Tools > Options > Plug-ins
  2. Make sure that 3D Seismic and Oil & Gas are checked, and click Apply

Reset the Seismic Data Schema

  1. Make sure the Toolbox is open (View > Toolbox should be checked).
  2. Select your Seismic Data folder (by clicking on it) in the project; it will be highlighted.
  3. Right-click Schema Commands in the Commands pane of the Toolbox
  4. Click Reset to default
