I have multiple traces with the same coordinate. How do I fix this?

  1.  Import the seismic line without navigation. Seismic Data > Import > SEGY 2D 
    1. Make sure the seismic settings are correct as in a standard import scenario.
    2. Change the byte position (Byte pos.) for X so that all coordinates are 0. This is not strictly necessary, but it will stress the fact that you want to assign navigation later.
    3. Scan the file ensuring you have all coordinates at 0 (example below).
    4. Execute to import seismic without navigation
  2. Import the seismic line's navigation separately. Generic > Import > SEGY 2D navigation
    1. Copy the settings from 1a above
    2. Execute to import navigation
  3. Remove multiples from navigation.
    1. Poly Data > Make Active
    2. In Toolbox' Shell and Workspace pane enter mak cle
    3. Poly Data > Assign from workspace > active
  4. Assign the navigation to the seismic line. Seismic Line > Seismic Operations > Assign Navigation
