Introduction
The Point Cloud Editor (Multibeam Editor) is a tool for 3D editing of multibeam and pointcloud data. The editor works on all pointcloud data displayed in the 3D window. All editing of data is done by flagging, which means that all editing can be reverted later.
How to open the editor
The editor is opened from the Seafloor Main Menu. Click Edit and then click Point Cloud (Multibeam) Editor.
The editor can also be opened by right-clicking the Multibeam folder menu.
The editor can also be opened by clicking the Tools menu on top of Geocap.

The editor consists of two button rows. The "Selection" buttons on top provides different methods to select which points you want to edit. The "Action" buttons at the bottom provides different actions for the selected points.

Only visible points are selected with the selection buttons. The "Point flag visibility filter" make some points invisible (by default the deleted poitns). These points will not be selected. You can modify the point flag visibility filter to control which points you want to select. Another similar option is to un-toggle (and hide) datasets in the project you want to ignore, when you do a selection.
